Who was Jane Hayes Alderson? In fact, we have discovered a little bit about Jane. Her brother John went to school in the 1930s with a lady who is part of the Stokesley Local History Study Group. Jane's father was Jack Alderson. The family lived in a tiny cottage on the Hutton Rudby road. This cottage had been part of the old brickworks. Jane was a bonny girl, but died a relatively young woman, of a heart condition. Her brother John died a few years into the 21st century.
